Tasting Notes - Descorchados "Grown on deep clay soils at the El Rosario estate in Maipo, the vines for this carmenere have enough nutrients and water to avoid problems. And that, in a certain way, could be translated into the generous and fruity side it shows. This is a well-balanced, medium-bodied wine with flavors of ripe red fruit and spices along with smooth tannins. The barrel notes (80% of the wine remained in barrels for 12 months) is like soft background music."
