Tasting Notes

Complex and fresh, it shows layers of cherries and raspberries with violets and savory herb notes framed by sweet spices. The palate is juicy and elegant with fine-grained tannins and smooth balsamic tones, finishing ample and profound.

Food Paring

Match with braised meats, beef stew, or slow-roasted lamb where herbs and spice mirror the wine’s aromatic profile. Aged cheeses and mushroom-forward dishes also pair well with its silky tannins and savory finish.

Professional Reviews

95 Wine Enthusiast

"Violets, ripe cherry and red-plum aromas are delicate. Light notes of cinnamon and dried herbs fill up the bouquet. This is one of Chile's iconic wines from a warm vintage in Aconcagua Valley that delivers good concentration of fruit on the ripe palate. Blackberry and cherry flavors are followed by light notes of oak spice. It has lively linear acidity and big tannins. It's good to drink now and promise a good future. Drink through 2030."

Region Information

Valle Central is Chile’s most important wine‑producing region, extending across a broad area with varied subregions. Mediterranean climate conditions, cooling influences from the Andes and Pacific Ocean, and fertile valleys make it ideal for a wide range of grape varieties. Valle Central wines are known for ripe fruit character, balance, and consistent quality.

Chile’s unique geography, bordered by mountains, ocean, and desert, helps protect its vineyards from disease. The country produces reliable, high-quality wines with excellent value. Cabernet Sauvignon, Carmenère, and Sauvignon Blanc are key varieties. Chilean winemaking balances consistency, innovation, and strong export markets.
