Tasting Notes

Deep ruby in the glass, it shows raspberry, tart cherry, pepper, smoke, and licorice with classic Cornas intensity. The palate is full-bodied yet velvety, with firm structure, mineral tension, and a long, spicy finish.

Food Paring

Pair this Cornas with roast squab, braised beef, or lamb dishes when you want a Northern Rhône red with serious presence. Its savory spice and mineral depth also make it an excellent match for game and earthy mushroom preparations.

Professional Reviews

93 James Suckling

"Intensely peppery and smoky this manages to marry full-throttle Cornas character with a velvety texture on the full-bodied palate. Intense licorice flavor on the long, well-structured palate. From the highest altitude vineyard of Cornas at 400 meters. Just half the normal yield. From organically grown grapes. Drinkable now, but best from 2025."
