Tasting Notes

Aromas of black cherry liqueur, minerals, herbs, vanilla, and spice rise from the glass with youthful intensity. The palate is rich and velvety yet balanced, showing candied cherry, sweet strawberry, earthy graphite notes, and a long cellar-worthy finish.

Food Paring

Serve this Grand Cru Pinot Noir with roast poultry, veal, or game birds for a classic Côte de Beaune pairing. Its savory structure and red-fruited elegance also make it a beautiful match for mushroom dishes and refined cheese boards.

Professional Reviews

94 Vinous

"The 2022 Corton Grand Cru comes from the lieu-dit of Les Combes, though it is not written on the label. It has a perfumed nose with redcurrant and black cherry fruit, hints of dried violet petals and incense. The palate is medium-bodied with fine-boned tannins. The oak here is very well integrated, and the finish is composed and refined. Excellent."

93 Jasper Morris Inside Burgundy

"Bright crimson more than purple. The nose is very expressive, strawberry more than raspberry, with a light liquorice touch. There is very good fruit behind here, not a massive Corton, not multi-dimensional nor firmly structured, more of a delicious fruit-fest. The barrel gives a drier finish but the fruit wins easily."
