Tasting Notes - Descorchados "This is the classic of San Pedro’s wines. Its first vintage was the 1994, and since 2014 it has been 100% cabernet sauvignon from alluvial and colluvial soils in Alto Cachapoal, near the foot of the Andes. It was aged for about 16 months in barrels (half new oak) and then another six months in used barrels before bottling. The wine has a delicious juiciness, ripe red fruits, herbal notes, and spicy tones amid juicy, friendly, and intense tannins. It has great aging potential, but would go very well with rosemary lamb chops now."
