Tasting Notes - Descorchados "This cabernet franc comes from the alluvial terraces of the Tunuyán River, near Altamira in the south of the Uco Valley. It was fermented with native yeasts in concrete vats and then aged in untoasted 500-liter oak barrels. In a warm year with early harvests and spikes of heat, this shows tones of black fruit and sweet spices, but it also has a structure that comes from the calcareous soils—those chalky tannins that bear all the weight. One for lamb stew."
