"One of the best versions of this Single Vineyard cabernet we’ve tasted at Descorchados, there’s very prominent ripe red fruit here, accompanied by floral and herbal tones. The volcanic soils of the La Capilla Vineyard, where this red came from, seem to add a sharp, needle-like aspect to the texture on the palate. And that texture is elegant, very typical of cabernet, which in this case helps to shape the fluid yet firm structure. All that means that this is a wine for cellaring."
