Tasting Notes

Bright citrus, apricot and honeysuckle meet toasted oak and a hint of ocean air on the nose. The palate balances creamy texture with natural acidity, echoing stone fruit and citrus with a touch of bright minerality.

Food Paring

Pair with lemon shrimp pasta, roast chicken, or crab cakes for a seamless match to the wine’s richness and freshness. It’s also great with burrata and ripe tomatoes or creamy dips where the acidity keeps everything lively.

Professional Reviews

"The Sea Sun 2022 Chardonnay is a luscious, opulent produced by the Wagner Family in California, who also make the coveted Caymus wines. Dry, medium-bodied and elegant, the grapes for this rich and creamy Chard were sourced from prime sites along California's sunny coastal regions. Fresh with ripe stone fruit, apple, lemon curd and toasty oak spice flavours. Lovely texture with balanced acidity on the palate. Chill and enjoy it with a roast chicken dinner or pan-fried halibut steaks."
