"The textbook 2024 Tinto from Vallado is one of the finest examples in unoaked Douro reds. It was produced with 35% Touriga Franca, 30% Touriga Nacional, 10% Tinta Roriz, 5% Tinta Barroca, 5% Sousão and 15% field blend of varieties from old vines. It has a mixture of wild berries, herbs and flowers with some earthy rusticity and a juicy palate with balance and fine tannins. Only 10% of the volume spent some time in 225-liter French oak barrels. They produced a big volume of this wine: 450,000 bottles, 16,230 magnums and 44,150 half bottles. It was bottled in July 2025."
