Tasting Notes

Juicy black cherry, boysenberry, and blackberry jam are layered with mint, sage, and iron-like minerality plus warming spice, vanilla, and cocoa. Velvety texture and plush tannins carry an enduring finish marked by espresso and dark chocolate.

Food Paring

Pair with grilled ribeye or braised short ribs to match the wine’s concentration and plush tannin. Mushroom ragù or truffle-accented dishes also pair beautifully with the cocoa-and-espresso finish.

Professional Reviews

95 The Wine Independent

"The 2021 Estate Cabernet Sauvignon, with 7% Petit Verdot and 7% Malbec in the blend, is deep garnet-purple in color. After a swirl or two, it races out of the glass with vibrant scents of crushed black and red currants, fresh blackberries, and mulberries plus hints of lilacs, black olives, and tilled soil. The full-bodied palate is tightly wound with black fruit and floral layers, supported by firm, grainy tannins and seamless freshness, finishing long and layered."
