Tasting Notes - Medium yellow with the slightest bit of haze. Very pretty and quite focused for the vintage, though also quite forward in a way Kistler Chardonnays haven't been for many years. The nose is generous offering aromas of yellow apples, baked pears, brown butter, lemon peel, toast and baking spices. Medium to full bodied on the palate with nearly medium+ acidity and an appealing bright, vivacious and slightly curvy texture. The fruit flavors are notably sweet, but the finish here is classically dry, and while the overall impression is one of immediacy, I think this quite successful.
