Tasting Notes

Classic Barolo aromatics of red cherry and dried rose are layered with leather, tobacco, earth, and hints of anise and truffle. Structured yet refined, it delivers ripe red fruit, firm tannins, and a mineral-driven, lingering finish.

Food Paring

Serve with braised beef, osso buco, or mushroom-rich pasta where the wine’s tannin meets savory depth. Aged hard cheeses like Parmigiano Reggiano or well-aged pecorino also make an excellent match.

Professional Reviews

95 James Suckling

"Tea leaves, slate, wild berry fruit, violets and some tar on the nose. It’s firm yet silky on the palate, medium-bodied, with super fine tannins and a cool minerality to it. Lots of tension and energy, if a little tight for now. From organically grown grapes. Try from 2028."
