Tasting Notes

Pale greenish yellow with steely reflections, this Albariño offers crisp white fruit, citrus peel, fresh stone fruit, delicate herbs, and a subtle mineral note. The palate is tense and precise before broadening through the mid-palate, finishing long, saline, balanced, and lightly bitter in a distinctly Atlantic style.

Food Paring

Serve this vibrant Albariño with seafood, grilled fish, fresh salads, fish rice dishes, poultry, or mild fresh cheeses. Its bright acidity and saline finish also make it an excellent match for sushi, sashimi, and a wide range of appetizers.

Professional Reviews

93 James Suckling

"This is very citric with brine and a marine note. It is vertical and nervy with a saline touch, medium-bodied but long and substantial in its context. Driven by a sense of vibrancy. Made with mostly grapes from O Rosal with a touch of grapes from Salnés. Saline as well on the finish. Drink or hold."

Region Information

Rías Baixas is a coastal wine region in northwest Spain, famous for crisp, aromatic white wines made from Albariño. Strong Atlantic influence, high rainfall, and granite soils contribute to wines with bright acidity, citrus flavors, and mineral character. Rías Baixas wines are widely appreciated for their freshness, purity, and exceptional food‑pairing versatility.

Spain has the largest vineyard area in the world and a winemaking history that spans thousands of years. It is known for regions such as Rioja, Ribera del Duero, and Priorat, which produce distinctive red wines. Spain is also famous for fortified wines like Sherry and sparkling Cava. Modern investments and techniques have elevated quality while preserving regional identity.
