91.5 Ken's Wine Guide

"This very dark ruby colored red blend from Conundrum opens with a dark chocolate and black currant bouquet with hints of oak and black plum. On the palate, this wine is medium plus bodied with integrated medium plus acidity. The mouthfeel is balanced, smooth, seamless, and very approachable. The flavor profile is a chocolate and blueberry blend with notes of Dr. Pepper and menthol. I also detected hints of black licorice and dried coconut flakes. On the finish its flavors, acidity, and its gentle tannins drift away nicely. I would pair this friendly red blend with grilled barbecue steak tips or a rack of messy barbecue ribs. Enjoy - Ken"
